The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is made up of over 25 sworn law enforcement professionals, comprised of both Level II and Level III certified Deputies and civilian personnel.

POLICE SERVICES
We provide contracted police services to the Towns of Enosburg, Fairfax, Franklin, St. Albans, Sheldon and Richford.
SPECIAL RESPONSE TEAM
The Sheriff's Office maintains a skilled tactical unit that is available for high level risk mitigation and problem resolution.
CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM

We provide contracted police services to the Towns of Enosburg, Fairfax, Franklin, St. Albans, Sheldon and Richford.

CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM
The Sheriff's Office has a newly developed team of deputies that have a significant level of training in mental health and crisis response, de-escalation, negotiation, and services alignment to better respond to people in distress.
RECREATIONAL ENFORCEMENT
The Sheriff's Office provides recreational enforcement in support of snowmobile and ATV activities in Franklin County.
COURT SECURITY
We provide security services to both the Franklin District and Franklin Superior Courts in the City of St. Albans.
SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS
We provide dedicated SROs to the school systems of Enosburg, Fairfax, and Richford.
STATE TRANSPORTS
The FCSO has two State Deputy positions that are responsible for transporting those in the State's Custody between the correctional centers and court and between correctional centers.
SECURITY SERVICES
We provide a variety of services designed to help protect you, your business and your home.
CIVIL PROCESS SERVICE
We are the primary civil process service for Franklin County.
TRAFFIC CONTROL
We provide services to help manage the flow and speed of traffic around construction projects and wide loads.
